Tess Whelan says au revoir to St Pete and bonjour to Paris! In preparation she will be closing Pilates Premier Studios' St. Pete location on September 1st. She expresses her heartfelt gratitude, admiration and wishes of continued well being to each and every client who put their trust in her, Pilates Premier Studios and the Pilates Method over these past 14 years! Her devoted teachers will carry on Joseph Pilate's legacy in the classical format at various studios in the surrounding area check with the She will be available for private and group sessions in Paris beginning September 24th and as the Regional Director of France for Power Pilates Education will begin offering certification and continuing education programs in early 2013.

Pilates Premier Studios is located in the City of Saint Petersburg
within Pinellas County. This area is also known as the Tampa Bay Area
and is adjacent to Clearwater Florida.
Established
in 1995, Pilates Premier Studios is Tampa Bay’s longest running and
most experienced Pilates studio. We continue our mission to provide St.
Petersburg and the surrounding areas with exemplary instruction in the
Pilates Method as Joseph Pilates originally intended.
We
remain dedicated to his original method because it works! You’ll find

Studio owner
and senior instructor, Tess Whelan moved to NYC in 1998 to become a Second Generation Pilates Teacher
and certified instructor through Romana
Kryzanowska, the world-renowned protégé of Joseph Pilates.
Tess has since earned the distinction of Teacher Trainer for Power
Pilates Inc. (New York) under the direction of Bob Liekens
and Susan Moran. As a teacher
of teachers, she has trained many local Pilates instructors.
Tess is as well, a Pilates
Method Alliance Certified Teacher (PMA) and a Bachelor
Degreed Registered Nurse.
Pilates
Premier Studios' instructors are trained in the complete classical
Pilates repertoire (Joseph Pilates' original series of exercises) with
current biomechanical understanding. Instructors are required to
complete bi-annual continuing education to maintain
certification.
